Every year our whole school participates in Active Week. The main purpose of Active week is to get an Active Flag for the school. An Active Flag is just like a Green flag but it means we are a very Active School.

We do many different activities during Active Week. On the first day we usually get a talk from a physiotherapist or a Sports Person and we might do an obstacle course. On the second day we would go to the Gaelic pitches for a blitz. The third day we usually do a fun treasure hunt and play basketball, handball or spikeball and we also have our trials to qualify for the Annual Sports Day in Greystones. On the last day the indoor football league finals take place.

We would like to thank Ms Smith for organising Active Week as we always have a great time.

We were awarded the Active Sports Flag some years ago but have to keep active to hold onto it.
